Bradford needed to address a real issue - the rise in diabetes, heart disease and strokes, with the main cause of these being an unhealthy lifestyle. Creating something that was visually engaging was critical to get local people on board to create a healthy lifestyle movement for the people of Bradford and surrounding areas.
A full range of materials was produced along with planned events to get the public involved. Bike rides, races and health awareness events were free to engage and educate the people of Bradford on simple ways to live healthier and the benefits health living has. Proposals were made to local restaurants and takeaways to provide healthier alternatives to their usual menus. Window stickers were created for any businesses that joined the scheme.

As well as quirky hand-drawn imagery, black and white photography was used to capture real people with aspirational statements on how they live healthy.

Window stickers, posters, billboards, leaflets and social media graphics were created to maximise impact and reach as many people as possible.
