Unbranded is a leading digital agency – and their brand identity and website design took the concept of being unbranded as the creative brief itself. A minimal black-and-white identity using default typography, bold negative space and a user-switchable colour system created a distinctive, self-aware brand that demonstrated their creativity and technical expertise before saying a word.

Using their name Unbranded as the inspiration for the whole theme of the identity – using almost default design as the design solution for the whole identity. The whole website was created in a black and white minimal style and using a default typeface sitted perfectly. Clever use of negative space, big bold typography and the introduction of minimal iconography and imagery completed the look. To build on this 'unbranded look' the website had a paintbrush icon which allowed users to change the colour of the entire site to whatever they liked.

The new brand identity and website emphaised the agency's creativity as well as techincal excellence to create a unique digital experience.

Users could change from the default colours to any colour they like by clicking/tapping on the paint brush in the top right of the screen.
